Emotional Support Dog

Layla grew up on a farm near Champaign, Illinois, before coming to LifeHouse to begin her career as an emotional support dog.  She is a little shy compared to her other canine co-workers and exhibits a more laid-back personality. She loves to go to the office and interact with residents and other staff. She is playful, loving and likes to stay well-groomed. She is very good at modeling self-care; when she needs a break from her duties, she can often be found relaxing in the office of her caretaker, William Temple. Her calm spirit is well suited to her role as a support animal for residents who may be experiencing anxiety or loneliness.
