Daniel Walsh

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

As the founder of LifeHouse Group, Walsh brings extensive experience in corporate planning, financial strategy, and risk management to his role as CEO. His responsibilities at LifeHouse Group include management of the LifeHouse Residential Recovery Services facility, coordinating with the Illinois DHS Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, Illinois Department of Corrections and National Able through the SNAP to Success program, establishing relationships with LifeHouse Recovery Organization’s partners, creating and working within sustainable budgetary constraints, and overseeing hiring and management of the management team. Prior to his position at LifeHouse Group, Walsh worked as a senior trader and fund manager at Lerner Trading Group, where he demonstrated the ability to lead and mentor teams while maintaining high ethical standards. Since 2010, Walsh has served on the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd Manor, a facility that houses and employs men with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Walsh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999, and he received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2020. Walsh also serves on the board of the AYSO youth soccer organization and the finance committee of St. Catherine Laboure grade school.
