Daniel Walsh, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

As the founder of LifeHouse Group, Walsh brings extensive experience in corporate planning, financial strategy, and risk management to his role as CEO. His responsibilities at LifeHouse Group include management of the LifeHouse Residential Recovery Services facility, coordinating with the Illinois DHS Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, Illinois Department of Corrections and National Able through the SNAP to Success program, establishing relationships with LifeHouse Recovery Organization’s partners, creating, and working within sustainable budgetary constraints, and overseeing hiring and management of the management team. Prior to his position at LifeHouse Group, Walsh worked as a senior trader and fund manager at Lerner Trading Group, where he demonstrated the ability to lead and mentor teams while maintaining high ethical standards. Since 2010, Walsh has served on the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd Manor, a facility that houses and employs men with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Walsh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999, and he received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2020. Walsh also serves on the board of the AYSO youth soccer organization and the finance committee of St. Catherine Laboure grade school.

Greg Siejka, Chief Financial Officer

In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Siejka manages financial operations and strategy for LifeHouse Group. His responsibilities include billing, compliance with agency funding requirements, payroll for LifeHouse Group employees, budgeting, and grant writing and administration. He is particularly focused on using state and federal agency grants to diversify revenue streams and design programs and services that ensure a wraparound level of care for LifeHouse Residential Recovery Services residents and LifeHouse Recovery Organization participants. Siejka has over 10 years of experience in the Financial Services sector; he earned his BS in Finance at University of Illinois and holds a CFA certification.

Anita Moss, Director of Operations

In her role as Director of Operations, Moss is responsible for the overall operations and staff management of LifeHouse Residential Recovery Services reentry facility in Dixmoor, Illinois. She manages the Director of Programs, Facility Manager, Screening Coordinator and Intake Coordinator to ensure that all treatment services, training, and reporting are consistent with best practices and agency requirements. As a member of the LifeHouse Group management team, her responsibilities include both vision and compliance as she provides strategic leadership regarding future projects and submits regular reports to the CEO and the Board of Directors regarding current program operations and outcomes. Moss has significant experience in operations management for rehabilitation and non-profit organizations in the Chicago area; in her most recent position prior to joining LifeHouse Group, Moss served as a Treatment Supervisor for Abraxas Youth and Family Services, where she oversaw program operations for medical detoxification and residential substance abuse treatment programs. Moss earned a B.A. in Applied Behavior Sciences and a Masters in Adult Education from National Louis University, and she is CADC, CODP/MISA, and Gain Assessor certified. Moss is passionate about taking care of people, and she believes strongly that all individuals deserve a second chance at healthy living options.

Michael Piontek, Director of Facility Management

In his role as Director of Facility Management, Piontek manages the company’s Resident Monitors’ daily tasks, security, and transportation as he ensures that the day-to-day operations of LifeHouse Residential Recovery Services run smoothly and in accordance with the facility’s rules and regulations. Piontek and his team act as a liaison between the residents and the management team in instances where issues need to be resolved. Piontek joined LifeHouse Group after a successful 14-year career in business management and franchise ownership, and he enjoys using his skills in human relations and problem solving in his roles at the company.

Frank Lowe, Director of Programming

In his role as Director of Programming, Lowe is responsible for designing and implementing high quality, effective classes, training, and rehabilitative services for residents of LifeHouse Residential Recovery Services and participants of LifeHouse Recovery Organization as they begin their recovery and re-entry process. Lowe provides management supervision to program staff at LifeHouse Group, including scheduling and training, and he assists the LifeHouse Group management team in ensuring that all programs are compliant with regulatory requirements and agency contracts. Lowe brings 20 years of direct experience in substance abuse services and supportive housing assistance to his position with LifeHouse Group, including comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable, at-risk populations. Lowe most recently served as the Clinical Director of MAT for PLCCA in Maywood, IL, where he was responsible for organizing all facets of substance abuse programs and services for the organization, and he has an extensive background in clinical supervision and supportive services with several well-regarded rehabilitative organizations throughout the Chicago area. Lowe received his bachelor’s degree, with a focus in Social Sciences, from Roosevelt University in 2001, and he earned a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Roosevelt in 2004. Lowe is also a Certified Alcoholic Drug Counselor, a Harm Reduction Facilitator, and SOAR certified. Lowe approaches his counseling and programming positions with a “housing first” philosophy, believing that a stable residential environment provides vulnerable populations with the platform needed to achieve family re-unification, healthy lifestyle, and job-related successes.

Annie Pike, Director of External Communications

As Director of External Communications, Pike supports LifeHouse Group’s position as a leader in providing adult recovery services. She is responsible for the development and execution of an external communications strategy that aligns with LifeHouse Group’s vision and mission. Her role includes building and maintaining relationships with all relevant audiences, including government agencies, partner providers, residents and their families, and social and business media. Prior to joining LifeHouse Group, Pike worked as an attorney for approximately twenty years, where she sharpened and refined her advocacy and communication skills. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from The University of New Mexico and a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. She is delighted to join the LifeHouse Group community in its challenging work of providing resources for adult men in need of recovery services.

Morgan Brosch, Program Manager

In her role as Program Manager, Brosch is responsible for LifeHouse Group’s SNAP to Success Programming and other grant programming. Brosch also supervises the company’s Case Management team and Intake Coordinators, drawing on her background in Social Work to provide career counselling and case management advice to both her management team and LifeHouse Group residents and participants. Brosch has an extensive background in early childhood education and family service counseling, having served in multiple roles with Genius Head Start in Indiana from 2014 to 2022. She enjoys using her social services background to move into a role that allows her to work with adults as they strive to gain the skills and education necessary to recover and re-enter society, and she is energized by the passion for making a difference in these men’s lives that comes from the management team at LifeHouse Group. Brosch earned a Bachelor of Social Work and Non-Profit Management from Indiana University Northwest and a Master of Education from Grand Canyon University.
