As the founder of LifeHouse Group, Mr. Walsh brings extensive experience in corporate planning, financial strategy and risk management to his role as CEO. His responsibilities at LifeHouse Group include management of the facility, coordinating with the Illinois Department of Corrections, establishing relationships with partners, holding screening calls with all incoming residents prior to their release from prison, creating and working within sustainable budgetary constraints, overseeing hiring and managing the team of employees. Prior to his position at LifeHouse Group, Mr. Walsh worked as a senior trader and fund manager at Lerner Trading Group, where he demonstrated the ability to lead and mentor teams while maintaining high ethical standards.
Since 2010, Mr. Walsh has served on the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd Manor, a facility that houses and employs men with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Mr. Walsh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999, and he received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2020.
Mr. Walsh also volunteers his time on the board of the AYSO youth soccer organization and on the finance committee of St. Catherine Laboure grade school.
